VICTOR
A. BALTA - MD
Medical Director
Dr. Balta is a board certified
Psychiatrist. He served his first year of residency at the Lafayette Clinic in
Detroit, Michigan. His second and third year residency was served in the prestigious
Albert Einstein Psychiatric Program in New York City. Dr. Balta has extensive
training and experience in the field of Substance Abuse.
GREGORY
J. DENGEL - LCSW, CAP
Program Administrator
Greg began his
career as a therapist 18 years ago, working with adolescent substance abuse. Gregory
received his Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Kean College of New Jersey
and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers, The State University,
also in New Jersey. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified
Addiction Professional (CAP). Gregory is presently Program Administrator at Choices
Recovery Center, bringing with him professional expertise in both Clinical and
Administrative Skills.
RON FOX - MS,CAP,SAP
Family Coordinator
Ron has a Masters Degree in mental health counseling
from Nova Southeastern University and is a Licensed Mental Health Intern. He also
holds a Masters Degree in human resources from Barry University and has Masters
Addiction Counselor recognition via NAADAC. Mr. Fox is a Certified Criminal Justice
Specialist as well as a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor.
WILLIE C. LYONS - MHS, CAPP
Senior Therapist
Mr. Lyons obtained a Masters in Human Service from Lincoln University 1998.
Willie is a down to earth therapist who is able to challenge our clients in an
effort to initiate the changes so important to the recovery process. He has worked
in the addiction field since 1989. His experience encompasses the treatment of
adult and adolescent clients as well as their family members. He has gained experience
at various treatment centers and has worked for Florida’s Department of Children
and Families before joining our staff.
